Our program puts your executives and managers into action right away. The program provides the support of Team and 1:1 Coaching to insure they use what they have learned and continuously hone and refine their leadership skills. Leadership Training is tailored to the specific needs of your organization. Developed by Dr. Sabrina Schleicher, a certified coach, licensed psychologist, and experienced educator, the program is intensive. It incorporates both team coaching and individual 1:1 coaching to supplement the training.

The coaching component provides immediate feedback to participants as they apply leadership competencies in the workplace. This improves their leadership performance by insuring that the learning goes beyond theory and is actually put to use.

Methodology

  1. Needs Analysis. The training process begins with a Needs Analysis to determine specific, targeted outcomes of Leadership Training. The Needs Analysis will be based on discussion with the management team, existing employee and/or peer evaluations, and other formal or informal tools for assessing leadership strengths and challenges within the organization. Ultimately, results of the Needs Analysis will answer the questions: What are your leadership challenges? What are your targeted growth areas?  How will you know this training has been successful?
  2. Team Training & Coaching. Based on the Needs Analysis, Team Training & Coaching meetings are carried out via teleseminar or in person. Each meeting focuses on the application of a specific leadership competency. These meetings allow opportunities for role playing, brainstorming and problem-solving using the leadership competencies that are being practiced.
  3. 1:1 Coaching Sessions. Each participant is given the opportunity engage in 30-minute 1:1 Telecoaching sessions during the training. These serve to identify and work toward personal leadership goals. Because coaching sessions are confidential, participants enjoy the freedom to explore new ideas and try out new leadership behaviors within the context of a safe, supportive coaching relationship. Participants typically report that 1:1 Coaching sessions are the most valuable aspect of the training!
  4. Supplemental Access & Support. In addition to the 1:1 sessions, participants have online access to the private Client’s Area with forms, documents and additional materials to supplement their training. Participants also receive summaries of 1:1 session highlights, in addition to any emails, faxes and ‘just in time’ coaching calls to address issues that may occur in between scheduled coaching sessions.

To promote a safe and productive learning environment, participants are strongly encouraged to maintain the confidentiality of the discussions within the Team meetings.

Specific Skills

Specific topics covered in the Team meetings will be determined by results of the Needs Analysis. Listed below are topics that could be addressed, depending on the needs identified:

  • Emotional Intelligence & Interpersonal Techniques for leaders (e.g., improved communication, building relationships with direct reports, conflict resolution, managing emotions in the workplace).
  • The Coaching Approach to Leadership (e.g., engaging & motivating staff, mindset of curiosity, active listening, powerful questioning, creating awareness, designing action, planning & goal-setting, managing progress & accountability, providing feedback while creating opportunities for learning and growth).
  • Managing growth, change, and uncertainty.
  • Improved personal effectiveness (e.g., leveraging personal strengths as a leader, improved time management, effective delegation, resiliency and better work-life balance).

Coaching supports learning by bridging the gap between knowing and doing. The most effective way to achieve proficiency in leadership competencies is to work one-on-one with a professional business coach.

Pricing varies based on the number of 1:1 Coaching sessions allotted to each participant. This will depend upon your specific work environment and the experience level of participants. Weekly to bi-weekly 1:1 sessions are the most effective in maintaining accountability and forward progress. Options with fewer 1:1 Coaching sessions are offered to accommodate various budgets.
